Characteristics Of Living Things

1. Respiration

Respiration is the process of breaking up food and giving off energy. The respiration process produces energy, water vapor, and carbon dioxide (C02).

2. Moving

Moving is another characteristics of an organism. The example of moving : A plant grows towards the sun light, birds fly, snake slither, walking and runing. So, all organism move, but not all are able to move to different place.

3. Receiving And Responding to Stimulus

One Characteristic of an organism is to respond to its surrounding. An exampleof such a respond is a plant growing towards te light. The environment is any factors nearby influency the organism, such as : water, weather, temperature, soil, light and sound.

4. Growing And Developing

Growing is a changing process by increasing the size and number of  cells. Human beings grow from infants to adults like what happens to a chicken in the egg shell.

5. Reproduction 

Reproduction is necessary for organisms so that they are not extinct. All living things reproduce. Animal like cows and deer reproduce by giving birth, and others like chicken and birds reproduce by laying eggs.

6. Need Food

Human and animals get the food from the plant or other animals. And the plant get the food from process of Fotosintesis. The process of fotosintesis only happen to green plant, green plant is plant which have clorofil. All living things are need food to get an energy to do somethig.

7. Excretion

Excretion is the process of metabolic waste disposal and other useless things. Excretion is a process that exist in all forms of life. In single-celled organisms, waste products issued directly through the cell surface. Multicellular organisms have a more complex process of excretion.
